International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidance provides information to both airlines and allergen-sensitive passengers to help minimise the risk of anaphylactic shock on aircraft. Through the current Aviation 2050 consultation, the Government is proposing improving consistency of passenger information and support provided by airlines, this will ensure consumers with allergies have more confidence to travel.
