Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 54 of his department’s Defence Industrial Strategy, published 8 September 2025, which projects his department have identified over the next 5-10 years that may be eligible for expedited planning permission.

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation does not hold an identified list of projects which may be eligible for submission to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government under the Crown Development or Urgent Crown Development Planning Permission routes.

As projects are developed, Officials will identify the appropriate planning strategy for delivery liaising with key stakeholders as required for the individual project.
