Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 88 of his department’s Defence Industrial Strategy, published 8 September 2025, what progress has been made on balancing strategic factors.

The principle of strategic factors balancing has been reflected in the National Armaments Director Group operating model design as part of the options development process. Work continues to embed the approach.
