Public Health England (PHE) is promoting and actively helping to develop the role of employers in supporting people with musculoskeletal disorders and other long-term conditions to remain in work (as well as prevention of these conditions). PHE’s work includes the National Workplace Wellbeing Charter, Evidence-based guidance for employers, supporting the Public Health Responsibility Deal and NHS Health Checks.
