Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what steps her Department has taken to increase representation of ethnic minorities in the early years workforce.

Early years training providers and employers are responsible for ensuring that they do not discriminate when recruiting trainees and employees into the early years workforce and must comply with the requirements of the Equality Act 2010.
