To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many and what proportion of (a) his Department's staff and (b) staff working for companies contracted by his Department are paid less than the Living Wage.

No civil servants employed by the Department earn less than the Living Wage.

The Department does not routinely collect information on the salaries of employees working for its contracted companies.

The Department does not hold information about the diversity details of employees of companies contracted by the Department.
