Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what estimate his Department has made of the average length of time for monthly payments from MFET Ltd to people who contracted HIV through their NHS treatment.

People who meet the MFET Ltd eligibility criteria receive an annual payment for the rest of their lives. The Department has made no assumptions about the average length of time that those people might live.
