Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what estimate she has made of the proportion of reported bullying incidents in schools that was (a) homophobic and (b) sexual bullying in each of the last three years.

The information requested is not routinely collected by the Department for Education. Wave 2 of the second Longitudinal Study of Young People in England has collected information on the perceived motivation of bullies by respondents, but this information will not be available until mid-2015.
