Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, with reference to the contribution of 7 November 2014 by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health, Official Report, column 1121, on the Second Reading of the Off-patent Drugs Bill, what steps he has taken to investigate whether non-legislative improvements can be made to support the use of appropriate medicines and benefit NHS patients (a) generally and (b) in the context of off-patent medicines.
