Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what estimate he has made of the value to the Exchequer of tax receipts on oil and gas extracted from the North Sea in each year since 1990.

Government revenues from UK oil and gas production for all years to 2013-14 are published by HMRC as National Statistics on the GOV.UK website, in Table 11.11, at the following link:
