Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a National Institute for Health and Care Excellence approved treatment for recurrent depression and is available through a number of Improving Access to Psychological Therapies services.

No assessment has been made of the uptake of mindfulness-based interventions in the treatment of repeat-episode depression.
