Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what recent (a) financial and (b) other assistance her Department has given for children in Palestine.
This question was answered on 12th January 2015
DFID funds the two main providers of health and education services for children in the Occupied Palestinian Territories; the Palestinian Authority and the UN Relief and Works Agency. In response to the trauma suffered by children following the summer’s Gaza conflict we are also funding a range of health and psychosocial support initiatives for children in Gaza.
