Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what steps her Department is taking to monitor the effectiveness of the International Development (Gender Equality) Act 2014 in reducing gender inequality.

DFID is assessing the impact of the Gender Equality Act 2014. In accordance with the Act, our assessment and other information on compliance with the Act and the department’s wider work on gender will be contained in DFID’s Annual Reporting.
