The Department for Education has the lead responsibility for policy to help children and young people who have special educational needs and disabilities. That responsibility extends to the collection and publication of relevant data. This collection of data is published regularly here: (https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/statistics-special-educational-needs-sen). The data includes the percentage of statements issued within 26 weeks.
