To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what statistical information his Department holds on the age, gender, ethnic group and religious identification of people in Bahrain.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office does not hold this information. We consult a number of published sources, including the Government of Bahrain and those from international organisations such as the United Nations and World Bank.
