Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether his Department provides guidance to the civil service on the (a) number of days of training that should be available to each civil servant and (b) training budget that should be available per full-time equivalent civil servant.

Through its programme of Civil Service Reform, the Government is taking urgent action to address long-standing skills gaps in the Civil Service. Our four priority areas remain digital, project management, commercial and leadership skills.
