General Practitioners: Vacancies

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many practices in (a) Halton and (b) England had vacancies for GPs on 1 January 2015.
This question was answered on 2nd February 2015
Information on vacancies is not collected by the Department. However, the hon. Member will be reassured that the number of general practitioners working and training in the National Health Service has increased by over 1,000.
