Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, how many rail passengers were carried between North Wales and London in each year from 1985 for which data is available.

The Department for Transport holds this information for the past 10 years. However it is held on a commercially confidential basis so cannot be released.

The regional usage statistics published by the Office of Rail Regulation, which provide estimates of rail travel between Wales as a whole and London may be of interest. These can be found at the following link:
