Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how many dog attacks on humans there have been in each of the last five years.

Defra does not keep a record of the numbers of people bitten by dogs. Data for admission to hospital in England as a result of a dog bite is available online from NHS digital.
