Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what steps he took to ensure that the identities and needs of local communities were reflected in the proposal to amend the constitution of Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

We are currently consulting on the proposal to amend the constitution of the Greater Manchester Combined Authority and the consultation specifically asks for views on how the proposed change may impact on the identities and interests of local communities.
