Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what meetings his Department has had with representatives of (a) Waitrose and (b) Asda as part of the Responsibility Deal in the last three months; and what issues were discussed at those meetings.

Representatives for Asda and Waitrose sit on the Responsibility Deal’s Plenary Group. I chaired the last meeting on 18 November 2014 and the purpose of the meeting was to enable members to reflect on the successes of the Responsibility Deal to date and to look at how we could maintain momentum and continue to develop delivery through the voluntary partnership.
