Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what steps he is taking to reduce translation and interpretation costs in the NHS.

It is for National Health Service providers to decide how much funding they allocate towards the cost of providing translation and interpretation services for patients, their families and the public.
