Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, how many disclosure of tax avoidance schemes notifications HM Revenue and Customs has received in each of the last five years up to the most recent period for which records are available; and how many of those notifications were acted upon.

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) statistics relating to the disclosure of tax avoidance schemes are available at

The statistics cover the period from 1 August 2004 to 30 September 2014 and are updated periodically. All notifications received are subject to the HMRC’s governance processes and acted upon accordingly.
