Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what reports he has received of Hamas's use of residential buildings to manufacture and store its rockets.

We have received some reports of Hamas’ military wing using residential buildings to manufacture and store rockets. If true, this would be a contravention of international humanitarian law. The UN also reported that Gazan militants used disused UN buildings to store weaponry during the Gaza conflict. Following the conflict, the UN Secretary-General has asked for a report on the storage of Hamas weapons in UN buildings.
