Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, with reference to the Answer of 26 April 2017 to Question 71623, what voluntary financial contributions the Government plans to make to the Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons Syria Trust Fund in the financial year 2017-18.

The Government plans to make a voluntary financial contribution of at least £50,000 to the work of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in Syria. We also plan to make a contribution to the funding of the UN-OPCW Joint Investigative Mechanism.
