High Speed Two: Legal Costs

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 2 September 2016 to Question 44231 on High Speed Two: Legal Costs, how much has been disbursed from the public purse in legal fees for solicitors, parliamentary agents, barristers and their staff working on behalf of HS2 Ltd since that date.

The HS2 overall funding envelope is £55.7bn and we report annually via HS2 Ltd’s annual report and accounts on overall spending.
