Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what information his Department holds on the proportion of total taxation revenue from wine paid across EU member states which is paid by UK consumers.

Data on the proportion of an average-priced bottle of wine which is paid on tax is published by HMRC in the Alcohol Factsheet. This can be found in Table 3.3 at:
