Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment has he made of the effect on delivery times for goods bought online from the EU in the event that the UK leaves the EU without a deal.

The Department for Transport, in conjunction with other government departments, is undertaking a comprehensive and wide-ranging programme of work to maximise the flow of goods in a scenario in which the UK leaves the European Union without a deal. We continue to work closely with a range of partners to assess the challenges being faced by the market and are actively working to ensure that the UK does not leave without a deal.
