Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, pursuant to the Answer of 22 January 2015 to Question 221047, whether the application of the OECD's Statistical Reporting Directives to income received results in income from returnable investments being treated as negative ODA.

All UK ODA is reported in line with the OECD’s Statistical Reporting Directives. The income received from returnable investments previously reported as ODA is treated as negative ODA.
