This Government has taken significant steps to keep this country safe. Funding
for the Security and intelligence agencies has increased in cash terms by 5%
compared to 2010 (from £2 billion to £2.1 billion). We spend £564 million
annually on CT policing. And on 25 November 2014, Prime Minister announced
£130 million of new money through to the end of the next financial year to monitor
and disrupt terrorists.

The Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015, which received Royal Assent last
month, improved law enforcement agencies’ ability to identify who is
responsible for sending a communication on the internet or accessing an
internet communications service.
