Affordable Housing

Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, how many homes have been built as part of the affordable rent model by (a) local authorities and (b) housing associations in (i) England, (ii) London, (iii) London Borough of Islington and (iv) Islington South and Finsbury constituency in each of the last four years.

Statistics on additional affordable housing provided in each local authority area in England since 2011/12 are published in the Department’s live table 1006a (affordable rent) which is available at the following link:

https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/live-tables-on-affordable-housing-supply

Data for 2014/15 will be published later this year.

The statistics are not compiled on the basis of parliamentary constituencies.
