Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the value is of HM Revenue and Customs' contract with Synnex-Concentrix UK; and whether the contract covers processing mandatory reconsideration of tax credit claims.

The value of the contract was estimated at between £55m - £75m at contract award. This includes processing mandatory reconsiderations of tax credits claims. Synnex-Concentrix UK Ltd is supported in its work by experienced HM Revenue and Customs staff and is further subject to stringent assurance checks.
