Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, how much the Environment Agency has spent on conserving the habitat of eels since 2010.

Since 2010 the Environment Agency has spent £26.4 million on projects aimed at improving our rivers, streams, lakes, estuaries and coastal waters which have multiple benefits for the water environment and encompass eel habitats.
