Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, what the change has been in the proportion of renewable energy supplied via solar panels between 2004 and 2014.

The proportion of renewable energy from solar panels increased from 0.7 per cent in 2004 to 3.3 per cent in 2013, a rise of 2.6 percentage points. Data for 2014 will be available on 25 June 2015.
