Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many (a) women, (b) men and (c) children were (i) overweight and (ii) obese in Birmingham, Northfield constituency (A) in total and (B) in each ward.
Public Health England does not hold data on the number of adults who are classified as overweight and obese by ward or constituency.
Data on Childhood obesity at a sub-national level for England are collected through the National Childhood Measurement Programme for two school year groups Reception (4-5 year olds) and Year 6 (10-11 years olds).
Due to the small numbers of children classified as overweight and obese at ward level the data within the table are presented as a total figure for the 3 year period 2010/11 to 2012/13.
