Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what assessment he has made of the quality and sustainability of jobs entered by participants in the Pathways to Work programme.

Pathways to Work is part of the Government's commitment to break down barriers to opportunity for disabled people and people with health conditions, backed by £3.5 billion of investment by the end of the decade.

We are creating a joined-up system of voluntary work, health and skills support so everyone can access the right support for them, at the right time.

Pathways to Work therefore brings together changes in our Jobcentres and a range of specialist and more intensive support, including Connect to Work and WorkWell, to help disabled people and people with health conditions access the benefits of good work.

Pathways to Work is at an early stage of delivery and the Department intends to evaluate the impact of Pathways to Work on employment in due course.
