Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what recent investment there has been in Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust; and if he will make a statement.

My Rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State recently visited the Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust and was pleased to be able to confirm that the Department has now earmarked £480 million of funding for redeveloping the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The Department has recently provided £20.6 million of this funding to help progress the development.
