Shipping: Alternative Fuels and Exhaust Emissions

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what guidance his Department has issued to the shipping industry on (a) alternative fuels and (b) exhaust gas cleaning systems; and when that guidance was last updated.
This question was answered on 5th March 2019
The guidance on exhaust gas cleaning systems was issued by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) in a Marine Guidance Notice (MGN 510) in January 2015.
The MCA has not issued guidance to the shipping industry on alternative fuels.
