Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what assessment he has made of his Department's performance in meeting targets relating to individual personal independence payment claims.

The Department does not have a target regime. Instead the effectiveness of Benefit Centres is monitored by a range of measures. The Department regularly publishes information on a number of key areas of performance; these are included in our Transparency Indicators page, Statistical publications, the DWP tabulation tool and the DWP Annual Reports and Accounts.
