Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what guidance his Department has provided to Jobcentre Plus managers on the place of conditionality referrals in performance appraisals of jobseeker's allowance advisors.

There are no targets for the number of conditionality referrals made by Jobcentre Plus advisors. Frontline advisers’ performance is measured on delivering high quality public services.

A copy of the guidance provided to managers will be placed in the library.
