To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, if he will make a comparative assessment of the total systems cost of meeting the 2020 target for emissions reduction from electricity generation using (a) conventional fuels and (b) non-conventional fuels.

The UK does not have a 2020 target for emissions reduction from electricity generation.
