Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will introduce legislative proposals to ban the sale of legal highs in March 2015.

The Government is developing proposals for a general ban on the supply of new psychoactive substances across the UK, with a view to introducing legislation at the earliest opportunity. There is no appropriate legislative vehicle to do so in this Parliament.
