Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what information his Department holds on the prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in (a) Wansbeck constituency, (b) Northumberland, (c) the North East and (d) nationally.

Data on the prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease are collected as part of the Quality and Outcomes Framework.

These data are not available by constituency.

The latest prevalence figures are for the period 2013/14.

Northumberland 2.5%

North East 2.6%

England 1.8%
