The £6,321,000 constructive loss relates to property assets identified as derelict or demolished during the Quinquennial Review (QQR) asset revaluation. The Valuation Office Agency and DIO Overseas Estates team conduct this review annually on one-fifth of the estate over a five-year cycle, verifying asset status. Losses arise from assets no longer maintained due to changes in site activity, cost of repair, or evolving business requirements.
