Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what proportion of cancer patients in England have received radiotherapy treatment in each of the last five years.

Although NHS England does not have direct access to this information, a national review of radiotherapy was conducted recently, which included data for 2010 to 2013 for the England average. The access rates are as follows:

- 2010: 36.2%

- 2011: 37.5%

- 2012: 38%

- 2013: 37.9%
