Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Written Statement of 14 July 2026 on The Armoured Cavalry Programme, HCWS237, when did the review by Jonathan Simcock commence and on what date is it scheduled to conclude.

Jonathan Simcock was appointed Lead Reviewer in May 2026 to undertake the review. Subject to ministerial consideration, the Ajax Simcock Review is expected to be published later this year following its presentation to MOD Ministers.
