Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to recommendation 35 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, what progress he has made in delivering the National Endeavour public communications campaign to convey the fundamental importance and necessity of the deterrent.

The National Endeavour communications campaign has primarily focussed on communicating work across the Defence Nuclear Enterprise (DNE) telling the story of the enterprise better, and the growth of its social media channels to expand reach and understanding. The Government remains committed to furthering the public’s understanding of the work of the DNE and the fundamental importance of the UK’s nuclear deterrent to national security.
