Through Atlantic Bastion, the Royal Navy plans to deploy a combined Type 26 anti-submarine warfare frigate force with Norway, augmented with uncrewed surface and underwater vessels, as well as future hybrid air wings, to create an advanced hybrid naval force to defend the UK and NATO allies against evolving threats.

The Royal Navy regularly engages with industry and international partners to inform its programmes.
