Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, whether he plans to bring forward legislative proposals to ban third party sales of puppies and kittens.
This question was answered on 14th March 2019
On 23 December 2018, the Government announced that it would ban the third party selling of puppies and kittens. The necessary legislation will be introduced as soon as Parliamentary time allows.
