Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what assessment he has made of the extent to which alternative providers will assume existing Interserve contracts in the event that Interserve enters administration.

As Interserve has stated publicly, its business will continue to operate as normal for customers and suppliers. The operating companies Interserve have not entered administration and will be unaffected. Therefore no alternative providers will be required. The provision of public services will continue without disruption or impact on jobs or pensions.
